Boundary Crossing in Curriculum Reform

چکیده
The multitude of stakeholders who typically take part in curriculum reform often have conflicting views about knowing, teaching and learning mathematics, which we conceptualize as discursive boundaries. Based on examples from across the world, described a variety ways these may or not interact context initiatives mathematics curriculum. We posit that deep meaningful sharing perspectives is exception rule, suggest setting up opportunities for boundary crossing – brokered by education researchers can be beneficial. This notion does should, even reconciled, but rather understanding one’s own perspective, with respect to others, open new possibilities otherwise remain hidden.
